Ubicada en un cráter lunar, el asentamiento queda completamente cubierto con el regolito de la superficie para asegurar la vida que contiene. Este entorno cerrado y controlado asegura que las condiciones óptimas para la vida se mantengan, resguardando la frágil biota del entorno inhóspito del espacio exterior. La parte superior de la esfera está cubierta por paneles LED que generan cielos artificiales y ciclos propios, sugiriendo una naturaleza lunar autónoma.
